Deusa ex Machina collection: The Astraea earrings

The Astraea earrings are inspired by the early Greek Goddess who was considered the virgin goddess of justice, innocence, purity, and precision. She was often referred to as the “Star Goddess” or “Star Maiden."

Astraea represented all that was good in the world. Later on, she symbolized the fall of humanity and the hope that a new age of innocence would one day return.

Collection: Deusa ex Machina

Colour options: Each set is a one of a kind, unique colour combination. Each set is numbered in the order they were created (e.g. Astraea I, II etc).

The base is created with brass filigree, then painted in different metallic shades, and adorned with acrylic half pearls, rhinestones and/or glass crystals.

Colour of Astraea II: Brass filigree metal base painted in an antique gold shade. Adorned with irredecent rhinestones and beautiful high quality glass crystals in a shade shifting in irredecent light yellow and pink. 

Colour of Astraea III: Brass filigree metal base painted in a silver shade, adorned with irredecent rhinestones and two beautiful high quality glass crystals in a golden yellow amber shade. 

Colour of Astraea IV: Brass filigree metal base, adorned with golden rhinestones and two beautiful high quality glass crystal rhinestones in a light olive green shade. 

Colour of Astraea V: Brass filigree metal base painted in a glossy, dark forest green shade, adorned with golden rhinestones, and beautiful high quality glass crystal rhinestones in very pale citrine, crystal clear, and light olive green. 

Colour of Astraea VII: Brass filigree metal base painted in an ombre effect from bright yellow to white, adorned with glass rhinestones in two sizes in shades of light blue, peacock and clear crystal, and two beautiful high quality glass crystal rhinestones in a light citrine and peacock blue shade.

About the collection:

The Deusa ex Machina collection is inspired by the female deities and Goddesses of Greek Mythology. Each design is inspired by and named after a Goddess. For example, with a little bit of imagination one can see the pommegranate in the design of the Persephone earring, and growth in the Demeter earring.

Each design is created with a one of a kind touch, meaning that the colour combos in adornments will not be repeated, thus each piece is numbered with Roman numerals in the order they were created.
